The Journey from Garden to Table
I'm thrilled you're here. Please stay awhile, look around & be inspired
Welcome to my KitchenMy name is Melissa Spencer and I welcome you into my kitchen. I am thrilled you are here. You have an open invitation to stay awhile, look around, and be inspired to explore the world of cooking with cannabis.
I approach baking with an emphasis on cooking with cannabis. I deeply care and am invested in using edibles as medicine as well as for finding creative ways to make a meal more inspiring, more creative, and honestly, more fun! When not in my kitchen, I'm playing in my garden, camping in the Colorado mountains, and saving the bees locally so they can survive and pollinate the foods we need globally. I can also be found exploring the best recipes I can find online, in cookbooks, or by trading recipes with friends and family. Preparing food with love and compassion is a heartfelt experience. |
Food as CommunityFood has a special ability to bring people together.
I often find this in my own life and I hope you will find that this online community feels just as welcoming as a real kitchen and that you will be curious (canna-curious) about what it means to cook with cannabis. For me, creating meals together builds the best communities and sharing a meal in the presence of fellow foodies opens up conscious conversations. I deeply care about the cannabis industry and enjoy being a resource and guide to those who want to explore safely and with awareness. Each of my recipes can be made with or without cannabis infusions AND I provide you with a variety of options for HOW to infuse your food. |
Step-by-Step CookingI have been baking and cooking with cannabis for many years and enjoy the many healthy benefits that cannabis has to offer.
Cooking with cannabis and creating a variety of foods, using different cannabis modalities has enhanced my eating experience. You will find that I cook all types of cannabis infused foods and have expanded beyond the typical baked (pun intended) desserts and treats that often come to mind. Cooking with cannabis is more than getting a high, it's about connecting, creating, sharing, communicating, and experiencing quality meals with quality friends and family members who also share a passion for healthy foods in the presence of good people. What this site will offer you is a welcoming invitation to join me in creating dishes and full meals for our families, our friends, and our communities. |
