A GIRL, A GARDEN, A DREAM, A KITCHEN
I have always loved to play around in the kitchen, but was often fearful of straying away from someone else's recipe, where I had a step-by-step set of instructions that allowed me to create something amazingly delicious and all I needed to do was to simply follow a set of directions. And then I began exploring the concept of cooking with cannabis and creating wonderful meals that tasted great AND provided some health benefits if prepared consciously. First step, my husband and I began growing cannabis plants in our garden and in our home. I have a passion for gardening that stems from childhood and being in the garden with my parents, who loved planting and experimenting with all types of gardens. From vegetable, to container gardens, to themed gardens, and even grafting plumerias and growing orchids at one time in their lives. My husband and I are deeply invested in properly cultivating and growing quality, organic cannabis plants that are naturally raised without any pesticides, fertilizers, or growth hormones. Our plants get water and sunshine and some damn good dirt to thrive in. That's it! And a lot of love. With that being said, we are also deeply invested in the industry of cannabis and the growth of the cannabis market. Our goals are to share knowledge and wisdom about the beneficial aspects cannabis provides to so many people, as well as debunk some myths and falsehoods that society has set as taboo in regards to cannabis consumption. Lastly, we strive to support an industry that is growing by leaps and bounds across the country and beyond and is changing the lives of so many people in a positive and healthy way. As I said on my front page, I approach baking with an emphasis on cooking with cannabis. I deeply care and am invested in using food as medicine as well as finding creative ways to make a meal more inspiring, more creative, and honestly, more fun! All foods I create are made with ingredients that are organic, pesticide-free, and ethically raised. I mostly cook vegetarian meals, but I will cook meats and seafood if they have been raised and "released from life" with high moral and ethical standards. When I'm not in my kitchen, I'm playing in my garden, camping in the Colorado mountains with my hubby and friends, and saving the bees locally so they can survive and pollinate the foods we need globally. For part of the year, you can find me in Florida, exploring an entirely different type of growing atmosphere that has it's own unique benefits and challenges in both growing cannabis and creating recipes with this adaptable plant. I can also be found exploring the best recipes I can find and prepare for friends & family and for anyone who is canna-curious. I'd love to have you join me on this journey. You are humbly invited... |
